Christine "Tina" Adams
Christine Adams, M.D., originally from New York and
Florida, has lived in Louisville 30 years. She is a child and adult psychiatrist in private practice. She has
honed her clinical writing skills in professional psychiatric journals and books on topics of child custody, sexually abused
children and women's sexual development. Now she is turning her focus to fiction and memoir writing, an interest laid
dormant since her college years, when she majored in English Literature. In her family, publishing and writing go back
for five generations. Christine also loves movies and for fun leads film discussion groups, incorporating psychiatric
and literary perspectives.
